Mike is a true genius at knowing how to fix your golf game regardless of age. Mike first fit me with clubs at the age of 56. I am now 72 and have had 3 club revisions over the years. As I have gotten older & lost club head speed, Mike's changes have kept my game at a level near to that of when I first went to him 16 years ago. A REAL people person and a very gifted student of how to make golf more enjoyable for the average golfer. Inspite of aging, I have kept my handicap at 12-15. Thanks to Mike. Go see him you will be amazed at what he can do for your game.

Mike is great! Professional, knowledgable and right on with club fitting. My wife got a hole in one with his Bang driver, so he must be good!

Great guy, got my clubs 3 years ago. Had a disaster 18 months ago when I broke my driver, It was replaced in 10 days sending the head to him and recieving it back. Living in scotland this was very unexpected. Have just ordered an other two clubs. After your fitting he keeps all the lengths and the best flex setting for you. Mike's understanding of the golf swing is second to none.

Mike and staff are super guys. Had an R-9 Driver fitted to a stiff shaft. After being taken to the "wood shed",as Mike called it, came home to hit the club. My longest drive was 297 yds. Jack H. MD.

Thanks Mike for fitting me and my daughter with clubs. Why in the world would anyone buy clubs off the shelf when they can have the worlds best club fitter make them a custom club or club set? If anyone mentions that they are in the market for a new golf club, I give them Mikes name. They owe it to themselves to at least give Mike a try. He promises not to sell you anything unless he can be of help to your game.

Saw Mike for the first time this past week. Had to have 2 visits to fix my problems. Very professional and is the real gem of the Grand Strand. Can't wait to get my clubs because unfortunately my shafts had to be ordered. He is a must if you're having problems with your game.

A buddy of mine got me back into playing golf around two years ago. At that time I bought a set of Adams tight lies clubs (+1 length and regular flex (since my previous clubs (grandfathers) were manufactured in the late 50's early 60's). With those clubs I was consistently hitting in the 120s with a truly amazing slice, which was pretty embarassing. Good thing that I always beleived that it didn't matter if folks were laughing at you or with you as long as their laughing.

Gave myself a retirement gift of renting a house near Myrtle for six months in 2012. Started playing with a group of locals and several of them told me look up Mike when I stated I was in the market for new clubs. Now Mike can talk a mile a minute but boy does he know his stuff. I've had a life long slice and within 20 minutes he had me hitting it stright and that added at least 35 yards to my drives. In a 12 month period I went from a 15 to a 10 handicap. I owe that to two things, the equipment and instructions which were both provided by Mike.

What a wonderful experience visiting w/MIke to have my set made..I knew he was a legend with fitting clube. Yet what a great guy that loves his job and it shows!! He gave me some great pointers on my swing, which built my confidence that I had lost after a long and I mean many long years away from the game..hey!! you know what it all came back..Thanks Mike

Met Mike on the driving range about 1 1/2 years ago. Couldn't hit my driver worth a lick. Mike told me to stop by his place and He would fix me. Stopped by the next day. He tested all my shafts, which were all different, said he could take 5 strokes off my game. Got all my irons reshafted, new driver, new 5 wood,7 wood and reshafted hybrid 4. My distances have increased dramatically. I have taken about 8 to 10 strokes off my game thanks to Mike. He knows the game and can analyze your problems and fix them.

The most honest thing I can say about Mike Harris is this: Mike Harris is the real deal! My brother told me about Mike last year, and he also shared an amazing story with me. My brother and a friend of his went to Mike last year. His friend is close to a scratch golfer, and was curious what Mike's approach to him would be. He thought possibly Mike just may be wanting to sell him something. He and my brother, and myself as well, are very cautious (and skeptical) people. The day they went to Mike for a fitting, the friend wanted to be fitted first, just to get an idea of what Mike was all about. Keep in mind he's close to a scratch golfer. After a few swings on the range, Mike looked at him, and said something to the effect that he was wasting his time, and Mike's time, because he had no swing flaws, the clubs he had were fine, and he would be taking his money if he built him anything. My brother was then fitted and got new clubs, because as the case with most golfers, he needed the help. And my brother's game has improved greatly, thanks to Mike's help.

On advice of my best friend, I had Mike fit and build a set of irons for me. My handicap went from 10 to 5 in two months. I made my first hole in one last week. A 172 yard 6 iron. I just turned 64. Go see Mike!

Mike took the time to talk with me, watch me hit some balls, and put shafts in my Ping irons. I hit them better, more solid, and straighter than ever. The new shafts were top of the line Aerotech shafts. (By the way, Ping will start offering Aerotech shortly) He tweaked the lengths, installed the shafts, put on new grips for what I could buy the grips and shafts from other outlets and then pay extra for the shaft pulling, clean up, shaft installation and grips. The outlets I compare him to are Golfsmith and GolfWorks. The work he did on my clubs was as good or better than Ping when I got them new.

Mike took me to the range 6 years ago, analyzed my swing speed etc. etc and built me a set of irons. I was72 yrs. old at the time hitting in the low to mid 90s. Within two weeks I started scoring in the low to mid 80 and have been ever since. I am now 78 and still scoring in mid 80s to 90 but losing considerable distance. I am returning to Myrtle Beach to see if Mike can get some of my distance back. I suspect I may need different shafts, will see. Mike is a great guy, knows what he is talking about, and the prices are very reasonable. EVERYONE should have clubs "custom made" by Mike to get the most out of the game

I have never met Mike but a good friend of mine (Jimmy P) has his clubs tuned by Mike. He is 52 years old and is still hitting that Ping G2 driver with a 44 inch titanium shaft well over 300 yards. Mike shafted this driver for Jimmy. Before he let Mike shaft it for him he was spraying the stock shaft all over the course. Jimmy said that Mike has shafted all of his clubs and that Mike was responsible from him being a beginner hack to someone that shoots high 70's to the low 80's. I'll pay Mr. Harris a visit one day to see if he can straighten out my game like he did for my friend!!

I friend from our golf forum recommended Mike... He said every iron feels the same now. His new tweaked swing and shaft alignment have made him a remarkable contender in his club now. He sets his club down and swings the yardage. He loves it

Based on the recommendation of a couple of friends I've been trying to reach Mike for a fitting session. Stopped by the NMB location a few weeks ago to find it closed... and I've tried both phone #'s listed above... I left 1 message but no call-back and when I've tried several other times but there's no answer. What's the best way to reach Mike???

Hello Mike, I'll be in Myrtle Beach Oct. 12-19 this year. I would like to know if you have any 4 wood heads. I have a 3 wood that a "clubmaker" scorched (white head) this summer trying to reshaft it. I have a 5 wood, SVG, that I hit well. I'm looking for a black 3 wood head of 16* or a 4 wood or strong 4 wood (black head). Both of my fairway woods have a Swing Science shaft that I like, but I'd like to talk with you.

Mike, Sorry but my wife and I won't be coming to MB this year. I haven't felt good for a while and just don't feel like making the trip. For a dedicated golfer and golf instructor that's hard even for me to understand. We have reservations for 10/1 - 10/8 next year. If you're still doing your excellent work, I'll contact you then.

Hey Mike, I hope you're still around and doing the excellent work I've been reading about. The wife and I are scheduled for MB 10/1 - 10/8 this year. I'm not getting my flu/pneumonia shot until we get back home this time. I hope to see you the first of that week - driver maybe, putter maybe. We'll see. Let me know if that works with your schedule.

We go to Myrtle Beach every year in October with a group of guys anywhere between 16 to 20 guys playing out. About one year ago a friend of mine had told me about Mike Harris. I call Mike up and made an appointment for him to see if he can do anything to improve my ping G 25.s At this time he put new shaft in all of my irons. I could see a big difference in yardage and how I was striking the ball. This year I called Mike to see if he could do anything with my driver. He met me at Beachwood to watch me hit my driver to see how I was hitting it. The driver that I was using was a ping K-15. That day I was hitting my driver very long and straight. Mike had said I have really given him a challenge to see if he could do something better. Two days later he had called me up for us to meet back at Beechwood he had came up with a driver and wanted to see if it would work. The driver he came up with which I’m going to keep that a secret, I was hitting it right off the bat straight and very long. My average drive that day was between 285 to 300 yards into the win. I would highly recommend any golfer at any level to contact Mike Harris if you are looking to improve your game.

Mike Harris is a genius at custom fitting golf clubs. I found him via this website three years ago and I am glad I did. He took my old 2010 Titleist AP2s and made them into the most perfect set of irons you could believe. I shot my age with them (shot 68 when I was 69). I also used the clubs to qualify for the West Virginia Open at age 69. I am back to have Mike take a brand new set of Callaway Apex Pro 2019 irons and custom fit those. (I think the Apex club faces are "hotter" than the 2010 version of AP2s and might give me a little more distance.) He is also custom fitting an Epic Flash Driver, an Epic Flash 3 Wood, and two Callaway Apex hybrids. That is the trust I have in Mike.... taking a brand new set of Callaway clubs and giving them to Mike to provide the shafts that fit my personal swing. Next time you're going to buy new clubs, instead of buying new clubs, ask Mike Harris to redo your old clubs with custom shafts. You will be absolutely amazed! You will feel the difference. Absolutely worth your time and money. You will really enjoy playing golf!

I just wanted to thank, Mike Harris, for fitting me with new golf clubs. He made me a set of irons, wedges, and woods. It has improved my game more than I could have ever imagined. If you would like to play better golf, then go see Mike. He will fix you old clubs or make you new ones. The clubs he has made for me has increased my distance greatly. I am 64 years old and wish I had done this years ago. If you think you are not good enough to get fitted for clubs, you are wrong. I have put this off for 3 years and finally did it.

I met mike through a friend after getting custom fitted or so I thought. However, After I got my new set for 3k I was feeling very underwhelmed. I am a scratch golfer and just assumed I wasn’t swinging well and that was the cause of the struggles. I never got fitted before but assumed this was just part of the process. I should have known that wasn’t the case. I was “fitted” for x130 shafts in my irons and was hitting them really inconsistent and really high. Each iron was different, and it was because most fitters just have manufacturers throw in same shafts for each club.

Had a fitting with Mike. He said he could give me a driver that would give me an additional 25-50 yards, was going to make something up for me to hit the next day. Then the hurricane was very close and our hotel told everyone to get out.
